Tryouts are for PYSC (travel soccer teams) only. There are no tryouts needed for AYSO soccer. Tryouts are held each spring (starting in mid-May) for the following year.

Player invitations begin after the spring season has concluded (mid-June after the last AYSO and WYSL practices and games).

2025-26 Tryouts

There will be a Pleasantville Travel Soccer Parent Interest Meeting for the 2025-26 year (starting in September) on Thursday, April 24th at 8:30pm (via Zoom).

We will give an overview of the travel soccer program in Pleasantville for new or returning families interested in learning about our club that plays in the Westchester Youth SoccerLeague (WYSL). We will discuss the two arms of Pleasantville FC - Pleasantville AYSO and Pleasantville Youth Soccer Club (travel), some of the similarities and differences with our AYSO program, the league we play in, commitment and expectations, tryouts and selection process, etc.

Registration for tryouts (which will start in mid-May) will be posted and distributed directly following the meeting. 

For the 2025-26 year, our newest U9 teams will be for players born in 2017 (birth year, not by grade).
